I saw !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and as I went through it I thought...huh...I’ve seen these signs before and went ahead anyway...I wonder how I’d score if this was a quiz.
This one is on a trail in Moab called the portal trail. It means business
6 out of 25. Not great. I need to live more dangerously.

Portal Trail - not sure what the point of that one is. I don’t think I could even walk it.
We just rode Rollins Pass, CO and walked this part. 30 mph wind gusts from left to right helped make that decision.

I was recently required to pass a sign at work that said “DANGER: Explosives and military working dogs ahead.”
In case you are wondering I did not die that day.

Yeah, that was after
3000' or so
of climbing. 12,000 ft elevation there
doesn’t help with brain processing either.

That bridge is like 120 years old and I don’t think I would’ve trusted any guard rail at this point.
S
tage coaches used it back then!! People used to have cojones.

Well, alright then. Spotted on a mtb trail in Sedona. I found Utah trails to be much more precarious.

I’ve found sedona overplays the risk for people used to desert travels. They are the deer valley of the off-road world...everything is a double black diamond, even the blue trials. That way you feel like a badass all the time and keep coming back.

Much agreed, there a few pucker trails but most o f it is just beautiful riding in my opinion. Whereas the mesa riding I did in Utah really got the blood flowing and had me scouting ahead before tackling sections.

I know the wide angle lens amplified things but I would not ride that. Hike, happily, one day , but on 2 wheels I’d go for a tumble.

The laser one made me think of a funny: when I worked at a sign shop with a laser engraver, I made a fake warning sticker for the inside of the lid that said “CAUTION: Do Not Stare Into Laser With Remaining Eye.” Always got a good laugh...

I have a sign from a ski area that says something like “DANGER: CLIFF AREA - SKIING BEYOND THIS POINT MAY RESULT IN DEATH AND/OR LOSS OF SKIING PRIVILEGES”
I always got a chuckle out of the wording. So, if they find my body dead at the bottom, are they pulling my ticket too?

These guys have seen weekend at burnies too many times. “sure, he’s dead.. . but he’s still got his pass all we have to do is pretend he’s alive and we can ski for free all we want!”
